Gulf Racing Porsche 911 bonnet

One-off, hand-cut vinyl original artwork depicting an abstract rendition of the classic Gulf Racing livery.
Imagine being trackside at a favourite race and being able to freeze that moment in time when the cars are speeding by, directly in front of you; now imagine walking over to a Gulf Porsche 911, with all the hi & lo-lights that flow up & over the surface, still intact. I imagined an abstracted version would look something like this, so thought it a great way to capture speed, and this iconic race livery.

It is created by hand-cutting many 100’s of coloured vinyl shapes and applying them in the form of a collage to the surface of the OEM G-Series bonnet. The final stage is professional clear-coat lacquer for a deep shine and protection. This one-of-a-kind artwork can be displayed on the wall, or stood as a sculpture against a support. No other automotive artist works in hand-cut vinyl, so not only is this an extremely rare piece of art, but the use of vinyl ensures it’s the exact same colours and finish of the original.
