City Dawn

Oils with some cold wax on heavily gessoed watercolour paper; unframed. Urban blocks in deep shadow and lighter colours, contrasting with the coming daylight. Trees are added to the scene in sgraffito work.
The work is not varnished, due to the presence of wax with the paint. The work can be framed under glass like any other art on paper.
