I am retired since 2015 after 29 years at Newcastle University. I suffer from MS and love to paint in oils and acrylic. I paint mostly for pleasure and take my time over each one as enjoy the feeling that they become like good friends. You have to learn the nature of each painting you create as they evolve from out of a white canvas. Ever time I am amazed at how mere paint can offer so much feeling of light and energy. It different for everyone.
